General Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and leadership to the dispensary team to ensure daily operations exceed performance metrics.
• Oversee product merchandising and maintain an organized, attractive store layout.
• Develop and implement staff schedules to optimize customer service and meet business needs.
• Ensure strict adherence to all state and local cannabis regulations and maintain robust compliance protocols.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and implement necessary corrective actions.
• Train, mentor, and conduct performance evaluations for staff to foster a high-performance culture.
• Manage the dispensary budget, analyzing revenue and expenses while monitoring key financial performance indicators.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a retail management position.
• Proven experience in people management, development, and customer service.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an active Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) badge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, POS systems, and HR systems (including time clocks and timesheet management).
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more multiple times per day.
• Flexibility to work a schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
