Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the property’s operational performance
- Supervise departmental leaders to ensure effective execution of operational functions
- Maintain superior guest satisfaction and monitor reputation metrics
- Take full accountability for the financial performance, budgets, and cost control
- Oversee workforce management and ensure compliance with South African labour legislation
- Ensure safety, maintenance, and compliance with internal company policies and statutory requirements
- Promote a positive, high-performing workplace culture
Requirements
- Proven background in managing housekeeping teams
- Experience with VIP guest services and hotel marketing
- Experience with revenue reporting and comprehensive hotel operations
- Knowledge of South African labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, OHSA, COIDA)
- Ability to manage complex guest complaints and service escalations
