Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the property’s operational performance
• Supervise departmental leaders to ensure effective execution of operational functions
• Maintain superior guest satisfaction and monitor reputation metrics
• Take full accountability for the financial performance, budgets, and cost control
• Oversee workforce management and ensure compliance with South African labour legislation
• Ensure safety, maintenance, and compliance with internal company policies and statutory requirements
• Promote a positive, high-performing workplace culture

Requirements

• Proven background in managing housekeeping teams
• Experience with VIP guest services and hotel marketing
• Experience with revenue reporting and comprehensive hotel operations
• Knowledge of South African labour legislation (BCEA, LRA, OHSA, COIDA)
• Ability to manage complex guest complaints and service escalations
