About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead overall performance of the Philadelphia facility, including safety, service levels, productivity, and cost control.
- Oversee all warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, staging, and shipping to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Manage transportation and fleet operations, including routing execution, driver scheduling, and maintenance for an 8-truck fleet.
- Serve as the site lead for the SQF Food Safety program, ensuring compliance with HACCP, FSMA, and customer requirements.
- Lead, coach, and develop supervisors, warehouse associates, and drivers to build a culture of accountability.
- Manage site-level labor and operating budgets and track KPIs such as productivity, accuracy, and safety.
- Partner with Sales, Customer Support, and National Operations to ensure alignment across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- 7–12+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or distribution environments.
- 3–5+ years of experience managing frontline or supervisory teams.
- Proven experience working in food handling environments.
- Experience managing a trucking fleet and drivers (refrigerated trucking experience is a plus).
- Direct experience with SQF, HACCP, FSMA, or equivalent food safety standards.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
