General Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall operation and performance of the sterilization facility, including Customer Service, Logistics, Maintenance, Operations, Quality Assurance, Safety, and Training.
• Facilitate interaction between all facility functions to ensure products are processed safely, efficiently, and according to specifications.
• Partner with the Sales department to develop and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and cost control.
• Maintain strict compliance with all regulatory requirements, including FDA, OSHA, and NRC.
• Manage annual capital and operating expense budgets in alignment with corporate objectives.
• Implement strategies to optimize workflow, reduce cycle times, and secure competitive advantages.
• Supervise the Quality Assurance Manager, Facility Supervisors, and other essential personnel.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in a science-related field preferred.
• 5-10 years of progressive experience in a production, operations, or manufacturing environment.
• 3-5 years of supervisory or management experience.
• Direct experience within the medical device industry or medical services/products sector.
• Strong knowledge of compliance and safety regulations, specifically FDA, OSHA, and NRC.
• Must be medically approved for respirator use.
• Ability to tolerate exposure to high temperatures and high humidity (up to 120F and 60% RH).
• Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
