Responsibilities

  • Lead the transition of pharmacy operations and logistics from a start-up to a nationally significant business
  • Oversee end-to-end operations including dispensing, fulfilment, patient communications, and clinical services
  • Drive the technology and automation roadmap, including WMS, dispensing systems, and carrier integrations
  • Manage a 24/7 operation ensuring resilience, shift structure, and high performance
  • Own commercial performance metrics such as cost per order, throughput, and shrinkage
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of 150+ people
  • Maintain regulatory and compliance accountability with GPhC, CQC, and controlled drug frameworks

Requirements

  • Proven track record of scaling a high-volume operation from early stage to significant scale
  • Experience leading teams of 150+ people in fast-paced, shift-based environments
  • Direct experience driving technology and automation decisions (WMS, workflow redesign, or system integrations)
  • Experience operating within a regulated environment (pharmacy, healthcare, food safety, or equivalent)
  • Hands-on, visible leadership style with a focus on workflow redesign and problem-solving
  • Strong commercial ownership and ability to manage costs and key performance metrics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct pharmacy or online pharmacy operations experience
  • Experience designing patient journeys or clinical care pathways
  • Superintendent Pharmacist experience or willingness to hold SP responsibilities
  • Exposure to NPS or patient safety incident frameworks in a clinical context
  • Experience collaborating with product or technology teams to build patient-facing tools
