General Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of Service and Install Departments
• Plan and implement schedules to meet daily customer commitments
• Review workload and manpower to ensure cost-effective execution
• Ensure installation projects are completed on time and within budget
• Participate in the annual budgeting process and execute financial plans
• Deliver return on sales that exceeds financial budget forecasts
• Review monthly financial and operational reports to develop improvement action plans
• Conduct performance reviews for the field force
• Improve safety and warranty performance through compliance and root cause analysis
• Enhance customer service scores through coaching and relationship management
• Assist with hiring, training, and developing new employees

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience managing personnel, preferably in a service organization
• Ability to handle technical applications and mechanical systems
• Experience conducting meetings with exempt and non-exempt personnel
• Experience in hiring, training, and conducting performance reviews
• Valid Driver’s License
• Ability to work in a high-activity, hands-on environment

• Bachelor’s degree
