General Manager - Optical

Responsibilities

• Oversee all daily store operations, including staffing, inventory management, and bookkeeping
• Lead, train, and develop associates through consistent coaching and performance feedback
• Monitor store performance to drive sales, profitability, and exceptional patient experiences
• Partner with the Doctor to ensure the highest level of patient care
• Execute marketing, merchandising, and promotional initiatives according to brand standards
• Manage budgets, supplies, and inventory to meet financial goals
• Recruit, hire, and retain top talent while managing staff schedules

Requirements

• 5+ years of retail experience
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build strong team relationships
• Passion for providing exceptional customer service and driving sales

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous supervising or management experience
• Knowledge of the optical industry
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
