About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership to department managers to ensure strategic objectives are achieved
- Partner with the Managing Director and GM of Sales to devise and execute organizational strategies
- Manage company assets, procedures, and processes to improve profitability and cash flow
- Establish management control and reporting systems across all departments
- Ensure compliance with local and corporate statutory regulations, including BBB-EE and OHS Act
- Oversee SHE management and ensure compliance with ISO systems (9001, 14001, 45001)
- Lead people management initiatives including succession planning, coaching, and industrial relations
Requirements
- Minimum 4-year Degree in Chemical Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field
- Post-graduate qualification in Business Studies or equivalent
- 10 years of business experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role
- Proven experience in financial management and P&L leadership
- Strong knowledge of ISO systems (9001, 14001, 45001)
- Advanced skills in strategy development, problem-solving, and negotiation
