General Manager of Quality Control

Responsibilities

• Maintain the quality management system in compliance with ISO/TS 16949 requirements and customer specifications
• Lead process improvement, new process development, and strategic quality planning for the automobile sector
• Develop and execute annual internal and external QMS audit plans
• Supervise department team members and manage financial information related to quality
• Control failure costs, including internal failure costs, field claims, and customer downtime costs
• Monitor and resolve internal and external customer concerns and develop corrective action plans
• Forecast field quality issue trends and lead quality innovation activities

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in an engineering field
• 15 years of related field experience
• 15 years of process improvement experience
• ISO/TS 16949 Internal Auditor certification
• Hands-on experience with SPC, MSA, FMEA, and Control Plans
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and CAD
• Strong supervisory, interpersonal, and communication skills
