General Manager

Responsibilities

• Maximize gross gaming revenue and EBITDA through exceptional leadership and strategic operational planning.
• Oversee all daily operations of Odawa Casino Resort, including gaming, hotel, and ancillary activities.
• Develop and execute strategies to improve financial results, guest satisfaction, and human capital efficiencies.
• Manage the annual operating budget and capital expenditures to ensure profitability and return on investment.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing management team, focusing on tribal employment and personnel development.
• Ensure strict compliance with Tribal Minimum Internal Control Standards (TMICS), State/Tribal compacts, and all applicable laws.
• Maintain professional relationships with the Gaming Authority, regulatory agencies, and local government officials.
• Oversee marketing and public relations programs to build brand awareness and guest loyalty.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of senior management experience in the gaming industry.
• At least 4 years of experience as a Casino General Manager for a property with at least 750 machines.
• Extensive knowledge of Class III gaming operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Adobe products.
• Proven ability to analyze financial reports and make data-driven operational decisions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license in accordance with LTBB Gaming Regulatory Commission regulations.
• Ability to work in a smoking environment and maintain flexibility with shifts and days off.
