About the role
About the Company
Norges Blindeforbund is the interest and service organization for the visually impaired and blind in Norway. With approximately 350 employees and 8,750 members, the organization works toward social equality for people with visual impairments and other disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Lead the daily operations of the county office, including financial and personnel responsibility
- Build strong relationships and provide service to members
- Work closely with the board to achieve goals related to interest politics, member recruitment, and activities
- Plan, coordinate, and implement activities, events, and meeting places
- Increase visibility of Norges Blindeforbund in Møre og Romsdal through communication and networking
- Conduct income-generating work through various projects
Requirements
- Leadership experience
- Strong financial understanding and solid administrative skills
- Strong social commitment and desire to work with the visually impaired
- Bachelor's degree or higher (relevant experience may compensate)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with digital tools and ability to learn new systems
- Strong collaborative and relationship-building skills
