About the role
Responsibilities
- Hire, develop, lead, and motivate the team through effective performance coaching and training
- Deliver the Herman Miller Client Experience by coaching teams in sales, demonstrations, and quoting
- Manage store revenue, sales plans, and expense control goals
- Ensure the studio maintains high presentation standards using visual directives
- Oversee operational procedures, including scheduling and managing store shipments
- Resolve employee relations issues in partnership with Human Resources
Requirements
- 3-5 years of retail management experience
- Proven people management skills and ability to thrive in a team environment
- Strong financial literacy and business acumen to manage budgetary responsibilities
- Proficiency with POS systems and MS Office software
- Experience with 3-D rendering programs
- Ability to routinely move objects weighing more than 20 pounds
