General Manager

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, lead, and motivate the team through effective performance coaching and training
• Deliver the Herman Miller Client Experience by coaching teams in sales, demonstrations, and quoting
• Manage store revenue, sales plans, and expense control goals
• Ensure the studio maintains high presentation standards using visual directives
• Oversee operational procedures, including scheduling and managing store shipments
• Resolve employee relations issues in partnership with Human Resources

Requirements

• 3-5 years of retail management experience
• Proven people management skills and ability to thrive in a team environment
• Strong financial literacy and business acumen to manage budgetary responsibilities
• Proficiency with POS systems and MS Office software
• Experience with 3-D rendering programs
• Ability to routinely move objects weighing more than 20 pounds
