About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations across sales, service, warehouse, and administration departments
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and meeting revenue and profit targets
- Support the sales team in building customer relationships and identifying new market opportunities
- Hire, train, and develop staff to create a productive and motivated work environment
- Manage inventory and supply chain by working with warehouse and purchasing teams
- Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management or leadership role, preferably in equipment, construction, or industrial sectors
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and profitability targets
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-departmental teams
- Solid understanding of business financials, including P&L statements and budgeting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP or inventory management systems
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience specifically within the building equipment or heavy machinery industry
- Familiarity with equipment rental operations
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field
- Experience using CRM software to manage sales pipelines
- Bilingual communication skills
