General Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations across sales, service, warehouse, and administration departments
• Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and meeting revenue and profit targets
• Support the sales team in building customer relationships and identifying new market opportunities
• Hire, train, and develop staff to create a productive and motivated work environment
• Manage inventory and supply chain by working with warehouse and purchasing teams
• Ensure all operations comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a management or leadership role, preferably in equipment, construction, or industrial sectors
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and profitability targets
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing multi-departmental teams
• Solid understanding of business financials, including P&L statements and budgeting
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP or inventory management systems
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience specifically within the building equipment or heavy machinery industry
• Familiarity with equipment rental operations
• Bachelor's degree in business, operations management, or a related field
• Experience using CRM software to manage sales pipelines
• Bilingual communication skills
