The Story of Emily in Cornwall is a heritage attraction and cultural destination of national importance, part of the Babylonstoren and The Newt group.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation and delivery of site strategy through annual business planning and budgeting
• Take full ownership of the site's P&L, including revenue, cost control, and margin management
• Oversee all site operations including visitor experience, restaurant, retail, functions, and grounds maintenance
• Act as landowner for all properties on site, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and fire regulations
• Lead and develop the management and first-line leadership teams
• Represent the brand at local, national, and international conferences and community forums
• Manage relationships with local councils, tourism bodies, and cultural heritage organizations

Requirements

• Appropriate B-degree qualification
• Experience in senior leadership within hospitality or heritage sectors
• Proven track record in financial management and strategic planning
• Strong people leadership and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to manage complex property and estate responsibilities
