General Manager

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop, lead, and motivate the team through effective performance coaching, feedback, and training
• Deliver the Herman Miller Client Experience by coaching demonstrations, quoting, and sales generation
• Manage store revenue and operational procedures, including scheduling, shipments, and expense control
• Ensure the studio maintains high presentation standards using visual directives and standards manuals
• Execute the sales plan and manage performance on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
• Resolve employee relations issues in partnership with Human Resources

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of retail management experience
• Proven people management skills and the ability to thrive in a team environment
• Strong financial literacy, business acumen, and experience managing budgetary responsibilities
• Proficiency with POS systems, MS Office software, and 3-D rendering programs
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to routinely move objects weighing more than 20 pounds and understand safety requirements
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as required by store hours
