About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of affordable housing properties
- Manage on-site compliance activities including HUD, Fair Housing, ADA, and Fair Credit Reporting Act
- Maintain knowledge of HUD 4350.3 Handbook
- Coordinate with Compliance Department on regulatory agency responses
- Implement tenant intervention strategies for non-compliance
- Prepare for REAC, MOR, LIHTC, and other site reviews
- Manage tenant requests, arrears, litigation, and evictions
- Supervise maintenance, repairs, and vendor bids
- Monitor budgets and prepare monthly financial reports
- Coordinate with construction teams on renovations and inspections
Requirements
- 3+ years of management experience (property management, hospitality, retail, or restaurant)
- COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist) or CPO (Certified Professional of Occupancy) certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with EIV
- Yardi experience preferred
- TCS certification for tax credit properties preferred
