General Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of affordable housing properties
• Manage on-site compliance activities including HUD, Fair Housing, ADA, and Fair Credit Reporting Act
• Maintain knowledge of HUD 4350.3 Handbook
• Coordinate with Compliance Department on regulatory agency responses
• Implement tenant intervention strategies for non-compliance
• Prepare for REAC, MOR, LIHTC, and other site reviews
• Manage tenant requests, arrears, litigation, and evictions
• Supervise maintenance, repairs, and vendor bids
• Monitor budgets and prepare monthly financial reports
• Coordinate with construction teams on renovations and inspections

Requirements

• 3+ years of management experience (property management, hospitality, retail, or restaurant)
• COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist) or CPO (Certified Professional of Occupancy) certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with EIV
• Yardi experience preferred
• TCS certification for tax credit properties preferred
