Fairgrounds Public Racket Club is a community-first home for racquet sports—especially pickleball—where players of all levels come to connect, learn, and compete. We are building inclusive clubs that feel like your favourite neighbourhood hangout.

Responsibilities

  • Hire, train, schedule, and develop all site staff while fostering a positive culture
  • Manage day-to-day site operations, including facility cleanliness, safety, and SOP implementation
  • Own court schedules and program mix including open play, clinics, leagues, and tournaments
  • Manage the location P&L, including revenue forecasting, payroll, and KPI targets
  • Oversee retail operations, inventory controls, and POS transaction accuracy
  • Build relationships with members, local groups, and partners to grow participation
  • Address member concerns and analyze satisfaction data to guide improvements

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a management or supervisory role (hospitality, fitness, sport, or recreation preferred)
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in fast-paced environments
  • Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, payroll, and P&L
  • Proficiency with scheduling, POS, and facility management software
  • Passion for customer service and community-building
  • Interest or experience in racket sports such as pickleball, padel, or tennis
  • Availability for flexible hours including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
