General Manager

Responsibilities

• Own the operational performance of the Haskell onsite supplies and tool rental location, including revenue, margin, and expense management
• Serve as the internal SME on supplies and tool rental for the broader EquipmentShare onsite presence
• Build and enforce operational SOPs and hold the team accountable
• Manage the onsite tool rental fleet, including availability, condition, and maintenance coordination
• Manage stock levels, reorder points, and product mix for construction consumables and safety supplies
• Coordinate with supply chain and preferred vendors to maintain fulfillment
• Hire, onboard, and develop branch staff as the operation scales
• Manage supplier relationships for key categories like abrasives, fasteners, and PPE

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in tool rental, construction supplies, or industrial distribution
• Demonstrated experience managing a location or operation with accountability for results
• Strong product knowledge across tool rental and industrial/construction consumables
• Experience with inventory management systems, replenishment, and physical operations
• Proven ability to lead a team and drive consistent execution independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in an onsite, embedded, or jobsite supply model
• Familiarity with large-scale construction project environments
• Background managing a tool fleet alongside consumables or supply operations
• Experience standing up a location with limited existing infrastructure
