About the role
Responsibilities
- Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff members
- Communicating goals, expectations, and procedures to staff
- Setting and achieving membership and revenue goals while tracking KPIs
- Providing constructive performance feedback to staff
- Ensuring high-quality customer service and resolving member concerns
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
- Supervising facility maintenance and cleanliness
- Communicating clearly during emergencies or unexpected disruptions
Requirements
- Successful completion of a background check
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work in a gym setting and move about club floors
- Ability to operate company computer systems and enter data
- Ability to bend routinely and lift more than 40 lbs
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of sales management experience
- 3-4 years of customer service experience
- Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Excellent MS Office skills
