General Manager

Responsibilities

• Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff members, including Assistant General Managers and Fitness Consultants
• Communicating goals, expectations, and procedures to staff members
• Setting and achieving membership and revenue goals and tracking KPIs
• Providing constructive feedback to staff members on performance
• Ensuring high-quality customer service by addressing member concerns and resolving issues
• Engaging with members in a friendly and approachable manner
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and implementing safety protocols
• Supervising the maintenance and cleanliness of the facility
• Communicating calmly and clearly with staff and members during emergencies

Requirements

• Must successfully pass background check
• CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
• Ability to work in a gym setting and move about club floors
• Ability to access and operate the Company computer system
• Ability to bend routinely and repetitively to lift more than 40 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• 2 years of sales management experience
• 3-4 years of customer service experience
• Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry
• Strong communication and relationship building skills
• Excellent MS Office skills
