About the role
Responsibilities
- Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising staff members including Assistant General Managers and Fitness Consultants
- Setting and achieving membership and revenue goals while tracking KPIs
- Communicating goals, expectations, and procedures to staff
- Providing constructive performance feedback to team members
- Ensuring high-quality customer service and resolving member concerns
- Supervising facility maintenance, cleanliness, and equipment upkeep
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and protocols
Requirements
- Successful completion of a background check
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work in a gym setting and move about club floors
- Ability to bend routinely and lift more than 40 lbs
- Proficiency in operating company computer systems and MS Office
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of sales management experience
- 3-4 years of customer service experience
- Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
