About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage profit and loss, drive sales, and develop the leadership team
  • Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff including Assistant General Managers and Fitness Consultants
  • Set and achieve membership and revenue goals while tracking KPIs
  • Ensure high-quality customer service by addressing member concerns and inquiries
  • Maintain facility cleanliness and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Communicate calmly and clearly with staff and members during emergencies

Requirements

  • Must successfully pass background check
  • CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
  • Ability to work in a gym setting and move about club floors
  • Ability to bend routinely and lift more than 40 lbs
  • Proficiency in MS Office and company computer systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2 years of sales management experience
  • 3-4 years of customer service experience
  • Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry
  • Strong relationship building and influencing skills
