About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage profit and loss, drive sales, and develop the leadership team
- Hire, train, schedule, and supervise staff including Assistant General Managers and Fitness Consultants
- Set and achieve membership and revenue goals while tracking KPIs
- Ensure high-quality customer service by addressing member concerns and inquiries
- Maintain facility cleanliness and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Communicate calmly and clearly with staff and members during emergencies
Requirements
- Must successfully pass background check
- CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
- Ability to work in a gym setting and move about club floors
- Ability to bend routinely and lift more than 40 lbs
- Proficiency in MS Office and company computer systems
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of sales management experience
- 3-4 years of customer service experience
- Prior experience or strong interest in the fitness industry
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
