General Manager

Responsibilities

• Achieve financial objectives by preparing annual budgets and managing full P&L responsibility
• Implement operational and sales process improvements to increase customer satisfaction and profit margins
• Provide leadership, coaching, and career mentoring to employees
• Oversee employee scheduling and assist with technical or mechanical troubleshooting
• Perform regular audits to ensure compliance with company best practices and policies
• Utilize division financial reports and metrics to manage daily operations
• Hire, train, and develop new employees through regular performance reviews
• Lead meetings and hold staff accountable to performance expectations
• Maintain professional communication with personnel and resolve escalated customer concerns

Requirements

• Minimum five years of experience in a leadership position managing personnel, projects, and sales
• Experience in commercial door industry or service provider industries like HVAC or construction materials
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Willingness to travel for training in St. Louis, MO, Bloomington, IL, or Kansas City
• Proficiency with Windows-based programs, ERP/CRM systems, and Excel
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating operational data and financial results
• Ability to understand technical applications and mechanical systems
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
