General Manager

Responsibilities

• Achieve financial objectives through annual budget preparation and full P&L responsibility
• Implement operational and sales process improvements to increase customer satisfaction and profit margins
• Provide leadership, career mentoring, and technical troubleshooting for staff
• Oversee employee scheduling and perform regular operational audits
• Promote a safe work culture and ensure regulatory compliance
• Manage daily operations using division financial reports and metrics
• Hire, train, and develop employees through coaching and performance reviews
• Resolve personnel matters and escalated customer concerns

Requirements

• Minimum seven years of experience in leadership managing personnel, P&L, and budgets
• Experience in commercial door, hardware, or construction/building materials industries preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Proficiency with Windows, ERP/CRM systems, and Excel
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating operational and financial data
• Ability to understand technical applications and mechanical systems
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Ability to travel occasionally to job sites and meetings
