General Manager

Responsibilities

• Build trusting relationships by developing, leading, and motivating a team through goal setting, coaching, and training
• Manage the full life cycle of talent acquisition and partner with HR on performance management
• Ensure store procedures, visual directives, and housekeeping standards are followed to maximize profit
• Lead the team in creating floorplans, design presentations, weekly trade, and home visits
• Collaborate with the Regional Manager to share business insights and develop growth strategies

Requirements

• Retail management experience
• Demonstrated design skills and a passion for the design profession
• Financial literacy and business acumen with the ability to manage budgetary responsibilities
• Proficiency with MS Office software and web navigation
• Proficiency with 3-D rendering software
• Ability to routinely move objects weighing more than 20 pounds and understand safety requirements
