About the role
Responsibilities
- Direct the daily operations of all hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and Sales
- Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional service standards in alignment with IHG brand expectations
- Prepare and manage the hotel's annual budget and forecast
- Monitor and control expenses while maximizing room revenue, occupancy, and RevPAR
- Recruit, train, motivate, and develop department heads and hotel staff
- Ensure full compliance with local, state, and federal laws and brand requirements
- Act as the primary liaison with hotel ownership and Blue Sky Hospitality corporate office
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hotel management experience
- At least 2 years of experience as a General Manager
- Strong financial acumen including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with IHG brand hotels
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or a related field
