Responsibilities

• Create a motivating and engaging team culture through coaching and mentoring
• Manage staff scheduling and timecard approvals in accordance with labor laws
• Recruit and onboard high-quality talent in collaboration with the People Team
• Oversee food and beverage quality standards and recipe execution
• Manage inventory, vendor relations, waste management, and ordering
• Spend 50-70% of the week leading by example behind the bar
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and presentation of the location
• Drive financial performance, AOV, and sales goals through creative initiatives
• Maintain operational excellence via auditing platforms

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience managing single-store unit operations in hospitality or consumer brands
• Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, espresso, and equipment
• Experience hiring, developing, and managing hospitality teams
• Experience managing inventory and supply chain ordering
• Full-time availability (45 hours per week, including 2 peak/weekend days)
• Strong interpersonal communication and decision-making skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a unionized environment is a plus
• Passion for coffee and customer service
