About the Company

1-grid is a fast-growing web hosting company in Cape Town with an established customer base, recently acquired by recognized leaders in the Internet services industry. We have the vision and resources to be the market leader in SA in the next 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end performance of the hosting business and execute growth strategies
• Define and launch new hosting, cloud, and managed service offerings
• Oversee daily business operations and monitor performance metrics (KPIs)
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control initiatives in collaboration with Finance
• Lead and mentor departmental heads to foster a culture of accountability and innovation
• Drive customer-focused initiatives to enhance retention and service quality
• Oversee strategic projects and change initiatives to improve scalability and automation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Commerce, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of leadership experience
• Proven track record in managing multi-departmental operations
• Strong understanding of hosting infrastructure and service delivery models
• Excellent financial, analytical, and strategic planning skills
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the web hosting or internet services industry
• Proven ability to drive business transformation and market competitiveness
