General Maintenance Worker

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings at MCSF Blount Island.
• Execute tasks involving painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.
• Replace electrical components including receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings using plaster or compound.
• Repair or replace sinks, water coolers, toilets, and broken window panes.
• Maintain structures by painting and repairing concrete floors, steps, and sidewalks.
• Install or replace doors, locks, paneling, and floor tiles.
• Conduct general maintenance on various equipment and machinery.

Requirements

• Two years of general maintenance experience.
• Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• US Citizenship (required to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization).
