About the role
Responsibilities
- Complete repairs in accordance with work orders and campus priorities
- Replace and repair fixtures and fittings associated with campus plumbing
- Perform electrical wiring, carpentry work, and equipment maintenance
- Assist with the maintenance and control of various campus equipment
- Execute daily and seasonal general maintenance duties as assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in building maintenance, housekeeping, or construction
- Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and machinery
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 100 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs and work in various physical conditions/temperatures
- Valid driver's license and ability to drive various vehicle types
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow detailed instructions or blueprints
