General Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs including painting, drywall patching, and minor carpentry
• Replace light fixtures, bulbs, and filters
• Adjust doors, locks, hinges, and hardware
• Support grounds maintenance, landscaping, and seasonal tasks
• Inspect and maintain buildings and common areas
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on equipment and appliances
• Support maintenance of commercial kitchen equipment such as ovens and refrigerators
• Complete basic preventative maintenance tasks and checklists
• Use hand and power tools safely and appropriately

Requirements

• Previous experience in general maintenance, facilities support, or building upkeep
• Practical experience with repairs, painting, and grounds maintenance
• Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools
• Ability to work independently and manage daily tasks
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift 35–50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience maintaining or troubleshooting commercial kitchen equipment
