About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and facilities
- Assist with basic repairs including plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry tasks
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of maintenance workshops and storage areas
- Replace lightbulbs, fixtures, damaged panels, and other minor fittings
Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment
- Valid driver’s licence
- Foundational mechanical and electrical understanding
- Physically fit with ability to lift, carry, and climb
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2 years’ experience in a maintenance, technical, or facilities environment
- Experience with general maintenance tasks and basic welding
