About the role

Responsibilities

  • Interact daily with existing and potential clients via telephone and in person
  • Order medical records and communicate with clients and providers during treatment
  • Obtain documents necessary to support injury and liability positions
  • Negotiate case settlements with insurance carriers and medical balance deductions
  • Prepare comprehensive demands and assemble support for submission to carriers
  • Manage case files from intake to closing under attorney direction
  • Maintain organized case files and present case synopses to attorneys

Requirements

  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Ability to multi-task and manage workload with minimal supervision
  • Highly organized with ability to meet multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong writing and communication skills with high attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Typing speed of at least 35 wpm

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior experience as a Personal Injury Case Manager
  • At least 2 years of experience in a legal position or as an insurance adjuster
