General Lending Lawyer

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, commercially focused legal advice on general lending transactions, including secured lending, corporate lending, and syndicated facilities
• Draft, review, and negotiate lending and finance documentation, including LMA-based documentation and intercreditor agreements
• Advise lenders, borrowers, and financial institutions on lending structures, debt finance matters, and transaction risk
• Partner with legal, finance, treasury, and risk teams to support domestic and international lending transactions

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer eligible to practise in the UK or equivalent overseas qualification
• Strong experience in general lending, banking and finance, or debt finance
• Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating loan agreements, security packages, and guarantees
• Excellent commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills
