About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage full set of books and ensure timely accounting closing and management reporting
- Perform daily bank statement analysis and create journal entries for bank allocation
- Execute weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
- Manage fixed assets creation, modification, and month-end depreciation
- Prepare monthly intercompany reconciliations and data analysis
- Run memorized entries for prepayments and accruals
- Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and propose adjusting entries
- Provide audit support and answer queries pertaining to handled processes
- Ensure compliance with general accounting, audit, and internal requirements
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting or a related discipline
- 1-2 years of experience in General Ledger processes
- Strong analytical, reporting, and communication skills
- Good command of written and spoken English
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working at a Big 4 audit firm
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite and familiarity with financial ERP
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
