General Ledger Manager – Record to Report (R2R)

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end General Ledger process within the Record to Report (R2R) function
• Manage month-end and quarter-end close processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
• Oversee projects accounting and sub-ledger management, including the close lifecycle
• Maintain a strong control environment by performing SOX controls, IPE certifications, and quarterly access certifications
• Lead and manage a team of 12+ accounting professionals, driving performance and capability development
• Partner with cross-functional teams including AP, AR, FP&A, and IT to drive system improvements
• Identify and implement automation opportunities and AI-driven digital solutions to improve efficiency
• Lead key GL and PA initiatives, including system implementations and process transformations

Requirements

• B.Com, MBA (Finance), CA, CPA, or equivalent qualification
• 15+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance with deep expertise in GL and R2R processes
• Proven proficiency with Oracle ERP (R12 and Cloud) and SAP ERP systems
• Strong understanding of financial systems such as ARM, HFM, TM1, and AGIS
• Demonstrated experience managing large teams in a global or shared services environment
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale process transformation and automation projects
• Proven track record in AI adoption within financial operations
