General Ledger & Fixed Assets Accountant

Responsibilities

• Manage General Ledger (GL) and Fixed Assets (FA) activities, including account reconciliation and analysis
• Create, calculate, and post journal entries
• Perform inter-company account balancing and CIP reconciliation
• Execute FA depreciation calculations and the FA capitalization process
• Manage month-end closings and submit trial balances to headquarters
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting packages
• Ensure all financial policies and procedures are documented and updated

Requirements

• Accounting or Finance Degree
• 3-6 years of experience in General Ledger and Fixed Assets
• 80-90% bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
• Strong knowledge of MX and US GAAP
• Proven experience with Internal Controls
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of SAP or QAD is a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
