Current student or recent graduate, 18+ years old, Ability to lift 50lbs, Communication skills, Teamwork skills
About the role
Responsibilities
- Sorting, picking, and processing scrap metals
- Draining fluids from vehicles in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
- Assisting with tire removal and handling as required
- Cleaning and inspecting recycling yard by sweeping and raking materials and debris
- Directing customer traffic during busy periods
- Performing other general labourer duties as assigned
Requirements
- Current student or recently finished school
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift 50lbs comfortably
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar role or industry
