About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform general physical labor duties in support of mining operations
- Assist with site cleanup, shoveling, sweeping, and debris removal
- Support equipment operators and maintenance crews
- Load and unload materials, tools, and supplies
- Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas
- Follow all mine site safety rules, procedures, and MSHA regulations
- Identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment issues
- Use hand tools and basic equipment safely and effectively
Requirements
- Previous labor experience in mining, construction, or industrial environments preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in rugged outdoor conditions
- MSHA certification preferred
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather, dust, and noise
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Flexibility to work day shift, night shift, weekends, and overtime
