About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, cleaning, and housekeeping tasks for university buildings and the campus grounds
- Execute setups and deliveries for special events in and around all campus buildings
- Assist with material recycling and supply clerk duties as assigned
- Support other classification personnel and management staff as required
- Work a consistent overnight schedule from 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM (Monday, Thursday–Sunday)
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to follow both verbal and printed instructions
- Ability to lift a minimum of 45 lbs
- Physical ability to bend, climb, push, and pull
- Authorized to drive University vehicles according to University requirements
- Ability to prepare or verbalize necessary reports
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous professional cleaning or custodial experience
