General Laborer

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, cleaning, and housekeeping tasks for university buildings and the campus grounds
• Execute setups and deliveries for special events in and around all campus buildings
• Follow established practices and procedures for the care and maintenance of university facilities
• Assist with material recycling or supply clerk duties as assigned
• Perform primary duties of other classification personnel as directed by management

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to follow verbal and printed instructions
• Ability to lift a minimum of 45 lbs
• Physical ability to bend, climb, push, and pull
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet University requirements to drive University vehicles
• Ability to prepare or verbalize necessary reports

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous professional cleaning experience
