General Laborer

Responsibilities

• Clear and prepare construction sites by removing debris and obstructions
• Set up and take down temporary structures like scaffolding and barriers
• Dig trenches, holes, and foundations
• Load, unload, and distribute construction materials
• Operate hand and power tools including jackhammers, drills, and saws
• Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, masons, and electricians
• Mix and pour concrete and assist in masonry work
• Maintain site cleanliness and follow safety regulations

Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy objects (50 lbs or more)
• Stamina for strenuous physical labor in varying weather conditions
• Basic knowledge of construction tools and equipment
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in construction or a similar labor-intensive field
• Certification to operate light machinery like forklifts or skid steers
