About the role
Responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and organize different types of non-ferrous metals including aluminum, copper, and brass
- Operate a 30lb cut off saw and baler
- Clean and shear radiators
- Perform general labor duties with a safety-oriented mindset
Requirements
- Aptitude for using machines and tools
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Good physical fitness with ability to consistently lift or move up to 100lbs
- Ability to stand, reach, walk, stoop, and crawl
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations
- Excellent attendance and safety record
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in metal recycling is considered an asset
