General Laborer

Responsibilities

• Retrieve and place boxes on carts for weighing stations
• Scan and return boxes to storage after weighing
• Assist with weighing tasks and sample preparation as needed
• Perform sorting, sieving, grinding, and fractionation under direct supervision
• Load and unload drying ovens under supervision
• Maintain production records and perform general cleaning to keep the laboratory tidy
• Follow all established safety rules, health, and security policies
• Execute tasks according to established procedures to ensure analytical quality

Requirements

• High school diploma (Grade 12) preferred
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
• Ability to stand or sit for up to 7.5 hours per day
• Manual dexterity for repetitive tasks and good hand-eye coordination
• Basic alphanumeric understanding and basic English communication skills (written and oral)
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work both independently and in a team
