General Labor - Mix Room

Responsibilities

• Perform mix room operations including ingredient formulation, machine monitoring, and quality checks
• Set machine controls according to work orders, recipes, and product specifications
• Use computer controls to pump bulk liquid ingredients from holding tanks to mixers
• Monitor processes, take samples, and communicate test results to the lab
• Document production runs and enter data into quality and SAP databases
• Maintain a clean and safe work area by following GMP, HACCP, and QMS regulations
• Conduct shift hand-off meetings to communicate line issues and production updates
• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks, including CIP cycles and equipment washing

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Aptitude for automated mechanical processes
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in math and interpersonal communication
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, wet, and humid manufacturing environment
• Ability to stand for long periods and work in cold temperatures using required PPE

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of related manufacturing or food production experience
