About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain clean and organized workstations, including lunchrooms, dining rooms, and storage areas
- Sweep and mop floors in kitchens and walk-in coolers
- Stock food, beverages, and disposable supplies
- Dispose of garbage, cardboard, and recyclables
- Label, date, and rotate products for service
- Assist in food production as required
- Receive and store supplies
Requirements
- Experience in large-scale kitchens (camp, banquet, or hotel) is an asset
- Food Safe certification is an asset
- Ability to commit to a 2 week on/2 week off rotation
- Ability to pass a Criminal Background Check
- Valid government-issued photo ID
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
