About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and courteous customer service to shoppers and donors
- Sort, process, price, and store incoming donations according to quality standards
- Assist with retail operations including stocking shelves and maintaining store cleanliness
- Help with merchandise displays and store layout to attract customers
- Monitor store activity to assist with security and inventory control
- Perform seasonal tasks such as keeping walkways clear of snow and ice
Requirements
- Completion of Secondary School (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Ability to stand for long periods with frequent twisting, bending, and reaching
- Ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds
- Successful completion of a background check
- Flexibility to work a varying schedule, including weekdays and Saturdays
