General Foreman

Responsibilities

• Determine efficient methodologies for works delivery and communicate them to engineers, management, and subcontractors
• Direct site operations, manage subcontractors, and coordinate daily workloads for plant and labour
• Set and maintain the highest standards for health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Support the project behavioural safety programme to foster a collaborative team culture
• Ensure all works are completed in accordance with project specifications, programme, and budget
• Identify strategies to improve schedule and cost performance

Requirements

• Proven success in a General Foreman role within the civil engineering sector
• Extensive hands-on experience in bulk earthworks and road construction
• Expertise in earthworks and highways
• Strong understanding of heavy plant operations
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
• Valid CSCS Card
