General Foreman

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of supervisors, work teams, and subcontractors
• Interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications to delegate work assignments effectively
• Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies
• Monitor work quality, conduct regular inspections, and address any issues promptly
• Provide guidance and mentorship to operatives to foster a productive work environment

Requirements

• Experience in construction, ideally in a supervisory or foreperson role
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, construction plans, and specifications
• Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in construction
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Full driving licence with ability to travel to various sites
